The most recent Rasmussen Reports Poll finds that Sarah Palin surpasses Barack Hussein Obama in popularity.  Hockey Moms are more popular than Community Organizers.

A week ago, most Americans had never heard of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Now, following a Vice Presidential acceptance speech viewed live by more than 40 million people, Palin is viewed favorably by 58% of American voters. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 37% hold an unfavorable view of the self-described hockey mom.

The figures include 40% with a Very Favorable opinion of Palin and 18% with a Very Unfavorable view (full demographic crosstabs are available for Premium Members). Before her acceptance speech, Palin was viewed favorably by 52%. A week ago, 67% had never heard of her.

The new data also shows significant increases in the number who say McCain made the right choice and the number who say Palin is ready to be President. Generally, John McCain’s choice of Palin earns slightly better reviews than Barack Obama’s choice of Joe Biden.

Perhaps most stunning is the fact that Palin’s favorable ratings are now a point higher than either man at the top of the Presidential tickets this year. As of Friday morning, Obama and McCain are each viewed favorably by 57% of voters. Biden is viewed favorably by 48%.

There is a strong partisan gap when it comes to perceptions of Palin. Eighty-nine percent (89%) of Republicans give her favorable reviews along with 33% of Democrats and 59% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

She earns positive reviews from 65% of men and 52% of women. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that Obama continues to lead McCain among women voters while McCain leads among men. The Friday morning update—the first to include interviews conducted after Palin’s speech–showed the beginning of a Republican convention bounce that may match Obama’s bounce from last week.

Another campaign gaffe by Hillary… She rambles on in a continuing trend of campaign lies.

Over the last five weeks, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has featured in her campaign stump speeches the story of a health care horror: an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died herself after being denied care by an Ohio hospital because she could not come up with a $100 fee.

The woman, Trina Bachtel, did die last August, two weeks after her baby boy was stillborn at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. But hospital administrators said Friday that Ms. Bachtel was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured.

“We implore the Clinton campaign to immediately desist from repeating this story,” said Rick Castrop, chief executive officer of the O’Bleness Health System.

Linda M. Weiss, a spokeswoman for the not-for-profit hospital, said the Clinton campaign had never contacted the hospital to check the accuracy of the story, which Mrs. Clinton had first heard from a Meigs County, Ohio, sheriff’s deputy in late February.

A Clinton spokesman, Mo Elleithee, said candidates would frequently retell stories relayed to them, vetting them when possible. “In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it,” Mr. Elleithee said. “If the hospital claims it did not happen that way, we respect that.”

Now if Hillary is that gullible to believe everything that she hears, she isn’t responsible enough to become President.

Oh no she’s in trouble now. The MSM, specifically ABC, is running with the story. It is not good to be Hillary again this week…

The Democrats’ infatuation with Prostitutes doesn’t stop with the NY Democrats.

A prominent Michigan Senator’s Husband Likes his Prostitutes, too.

The co-founder and former CEO of the liberal-progressive Democracy Radio and husband of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow was caught in February by a Troy police sting aimed at catching prostitutes, according to a police report.

Thomas L. Athans was stopped Feb. 26 by undercover officers investigating a possible prostitution ring in a room at the Residence Inn near Big Beaver and Interstate 75. Athans paid a 20-year-old prostitute $150 for sex in a Troy hotel but was not arrested, according to police reports obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by The Detroit News. The police report said officers observed Athans enter a room under surveillance and leave 15 minutes later. Detectives followed and stopped Athans’ silver 2002 Cadillac DeVille on Interstate 75 near Square Lake Road.

Athans told police he stopped at the hotel to see a female friend he met online. After calling her on his cell phone, he was given a room number and met the woman at the door. Once inside he placed $150 on a counter top. The woman collected the money and performed oral sex on him, Athans told police.

Officers entered the room and found sex toys, condoms, $431 in cash and a laptop computer. They arrested the woman, identified as Alycia Lorraine Martin, and charged her with prostitution. She was released on a $100 bond and has been ordered to appear in Troy District Court for a pre-trial hearing April 22.

Calls to Athans, 46, and Stabenow seeking comment were not returned.

Troy police Lt. Gerard Scherlinck said Troy’s undercover officers focus their efforts on breaking up prostitution rings about four times a year, depending upon manpower. During the stings they arrest only the prostitutes.

“(Detectives) stop people coming and going and interview them. If they have a cooperative witness, they will use that person to testify against the ring rather than arrest them. That’s what happened in this case,” Scherlinck said.

If the case goes to trial, Athans would be called as a witness to testify and positively identify the woman, he said.

“There is no hiding it. You have to write a statement and testify in court and your name appears in a police report,” Scherlinck said of the men who are typically interviewed and released in these kinds of cases.

Troy’s police spotted an advertisement online at www.backpage.com which read “a young blond hottie here for your total enjoyment” in Troy under the name “Kasey.” The posting had rates for 15 minutes ($100) and by the half hour ($160) and hour ($225).

“Those are all red flags for prostitution,” Scherlinck said.

After being released, Athans was issued a ticket by Troy police that same day for driving with a suspended license.

Bill is losing it again.

You know when the Clinton Campaign is nearing defeat.  It is the beginning of the end when Slick goes into a tirade with Democrat Party delegates no less:

The Bill Clinton who met privately with California’s superdelegates at last weekend’s state convention was a far cry from the congenial former president who afterward publicly urged fellow Democrats to “chill out” over the race between his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Barack Obama.

In fact, before his speech Clinton had one of his famous meltdowns Sunday, blasting away at former presidential contender Bill Richardson for having endorsed Obama, the media and the entire nomination process.

“It was one of the worst political meetings I have ever attended,” one superdelegate said.

According to those at the meeting, Clinton – who flew in from Chicago with bags under his eyes – was classic old Bill at first, charming and making small talk with the 15 or so delegates who gathered in a room behind the convention stage.

But as the group moved together for the perfunctory photo, Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how “sorry” she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a “Judas” for backing Obama.

It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade.

“Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that,” a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.

The former president then went on a tirade that ran from the media’s unfair treatment of Hillary to questions about the fairness of the votes in state caucuses that voted for Obama. It ended with him asking delegates to imagine what the reaction would be if Obama was trailing by just 1 percent and people were telling him to drop out.

“It was very, very intense,” said one attendee. “Not at all like the Bill of earlier campaigns.”

And what did he say to the waiting audience?  We need to chill out…..

Hillary boasts of her 35 years of experience. But what were her actual accomplishments during that stretch time? Now that the new media has evolved since the first running of the Twofer team of Billary in the 90′s there is a wealth of information available to anyone who cares to research her claims.

Jerry Zeifman was chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate Hearings.

Zeifman fired Hillary after the hearings. Asked why, his response was:

“Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

From Zeifman on Hillary Rodham’s actions during the Watergate investigation :

After President Nixon’s resignation a young lawyer, who shared an office with
Hillary, confided in me that he was dismayed by her erroneous legal opinions and
efforts to deny Nixon representation by counsel — as well as an unwillingness to
investigate Nixon. In my diary of August 12, 1974 I noted the following:

“John Labovitz apologized to me for the fact that months ago he and Hillary had lied
to me [to conceal rules changes and dilatory tactics.] Labovitz said. ‘That came from
Yale.’ I said “You mean Burke Marshall [Senator Ted Kennedy’s chief political
strategist, with whom Hillary regularly consulted in violation of House rules.] ‘
Labovitz said, ‘Yes.’ His apology was significant to me, not because it was a
revelation but because of his contrition.”

At that time Hillary Rodham was 27 years old. She had obtained a position on our
committee staff through the political patronage of her former Yale law school
professor Burke Marshall and Senator Ted Kennedy. Eventually, because of a
number of her unethical practices I decided that I could not recommend her for any
subsequent position of public or private trust.

Her patron, Burke Marshal, had previously been Assistant Attorney General for Civil
Rights under Robert Kennedy. During the Kennedy administration Washington
insiders jokingly characterized him as the Chief counsel to the Irish Mafia. After
becoming a Yale professor he also became Senator Ted Kennedy’s lawyer at the
time of Chappaquidick — as well as Kennedy’s chief political strategist. As a result,
some of his colleagues often described him as the Attorney General in waiting of the
Camelot government in exile.

In addition to getting Hillary a job on the Nixon impeachment inquiry staff, Kennedy
and Marshall had also persuaded Rodino to place two other close friends of
Marshall in top positions on our staff. One was John Doar; who had been Marshall’s
deputy in the Justice Department – whom Rodino appointed to head the
impeachment inquiry staff. The other was Bernard Nussbaum, who had served as
Assistant U.S. Attorney in New York – who was placed in charge of conducting the
actual investigation of Nixon’s malfeasance.

Marshall, Doar, Nussbaum, and Rodham had two hidden objectives regarding the
conduct of the impeachment proceedings. First, in order to enhance the prospect of
Senator Kennedy or another liberal Democrat being elected president in 1976 they
hoped to keep Nixon in office “twisting in the wind” for as long as possible. This
would prevent then-Vice President Jerry Ford from becoming President and
restoring moral authority to the Republican Party

…

Hillary didn’t stop there.

It was not until two months after Nixon’s resignation that I first learned of still another
questionable role of Hillary. On Sept. 26, 1974, Rep. Charles Wiggins, a
Republican member of the committee, wrote to ask Chairman Rodino to look into “a
troubling set of events.” That spring, Wiggins and other committee members had
asked “that research should be undertaken so as to furnish a standard against
which to test the alleged abusive conduct of Richard Nixon.” And, while “no such
staff study was made available to the members at any time for their use,” Wiggins
had just learned that such a study had been conducted – at committee expense – by
a team of professors who completed and filed their reports with the impeachment-
inquiry staff well in advance of our public
hearings.

The report was kept secret from members of Congress. But after the impeachment-
inquiry staff was disbanded, it was published commercially and sold in book stores.
Wiggins wrote: “I am especially troubled by the possibility that information deemed
essential by some of the members in their discharge of their responsibilities may
have been intentionally suppressed by the staff during the course our investigation.”
He was also concerned that staff members may have unlawfully received royalties
from the book’s publisher.

On Oct. 3, Rodino wrote back: “Hillary Rodham of the impeachment-inquiry staff
coordinated the work. The staff did not think the manuscript was useful in its present
form.” No effort was ever made to ascertain whether or not Hillary or any other
person on the committee staff received royalties.

Two decades later Bill Clinton became President. As was later to be described in
the Wall Street Journal by Henry Ruth — the lead Watergate courtroom prosecutor
– “The Clintons corrupted the soul of the Democratic Party.”

Will the press pick up on this? It may be old news but pretty damning about Hillary Clinton’s character.

Hillary Denies Saying “Big Boys” Were Trying to Bully a Woman Out of the Race:

Adam Nagourney reported on Saturday that, in response to calls for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, to drop out of the race.

“In a conversation with two Democratic allies, she compared the situation to the ‘big boys’ trying to bully a woman, according to interviews with them.”

In the Washington Post Sunday, Clinton denied the report.

Q. “There was a story today that said you felt the ‘big boys’ were trying to push you out, ‘bullying’ you. Did you use those phrases?”

Clinton: “No , I did not. … I never said that. I’m always amazed when I read things I supposedly said that I never said. Look, I think that what is going on with people trying to shut this process down is very counterproductive. I think it is not in the best interests of the Democratic Party…

“It would be perilous for me to say, ‘You know, Barack Obama won x,y and z. That’s not enough electoral votes. He should drop out.’ Why would anybody say that? We need to let this contest continue. I know there are some people who want to shut this process down, and I think they are wrong and I have no intention of stopping until we finish what we started, and until we see what happens in the next 10 contests, and until we resolve Florida and Michigan. And if we won’t resolve it, we’ll resolve it at the convention — that’s what credentials committees are for — because I feel so strongly about this. For the life of me, what Barack was afraid of with Michigan I will never understand. There is no doubt in my mind he would have done just fine running a vigorous campaign.”

Hill just keeps on keepin’ on. Anytime she speaks there is a suspicion that there is an untruth intertwined with her rhetoric.

Hillary Clinton’s claims to have been partly responsible in the Family and Medical Leave Act becoming law is another fabrication by the Democrat Candidate. A former congressman claimed: “If Hillary played a role in its passage, it was without my knowledge.”

The former congressman who shepherded the Family and Medical Leave Act through Congress sought Thursday to debunk Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) claim to the legislation, saying she “never had anything to do with it.”

Former Rep. William Lacy Clay, Sr. (D-Mo.) is circulating an email disputing Clinton’s claim that the law is one of her more meaningful domestic accomplishments. The presidential candidate says she helped lobby for the bill’s passage and signing in 1993.

But Clay, who was joined by Senate sponsor Christopher Dodd (D-Conn.), said the bill had already passed by large margins when it passed in 1990 and 1992 before it was vetoed on both occasions by former President George H.W. Bush.

The floodgates have been open to the exposure of all the Clinton family lies. Obama is the new MSM favorite.

Barack Obama, to help save his standing in the black community, described his “White Grandmother” as a racist.

I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.

These people are a part of me. And they are a part of America, this country that I love.

His grandmother is the one who raised Barack. Talk about an ungrateful grandchild….

The New “Luv Guv” David Paterson & wife Michelle

The citizens of New York are blindsided by news of their new governor’s illicit affair. The new Governor of NY State (Democrat) David Paterson admitted to having an extramarital affair beginning in 1999 and lasting for several years. It’s alright though, his wife had an affair during this period of time too.

This is an obvious attempt to head off any new revelations of the Democrats’ tendency of succumbing to sexual scandals.

From the NY Daily News:

In a stunning revelation, both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, acknowledged in a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.

In the course of several interviews in the past few days, Paterson said he maintained a relationship for two or three years with “a woman other than my wife,” beginning in 1999.

Big spender Paterson met his concubine at the local Days Inn.

As part of that relationship, Paterson said, he and the other woman sometimes stayed at an upper West Side hotel — the Days Inn at Broadway and W. 94th St.

He said members of his Albany legislative staff often used the same hotel when they visit the city.

More Democrat hypocrisy.
