Good News for Republicans. Members of the GOP are more mentally stable than the average Democrat or Independent (undecided liberal). This by the Democrats’ own admission in a recent Gallup Poll.

Republicans Report Much Better Mental Health Than Others

PRINCETON, NJ — Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls. Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43% of independents and 38% of Democrats. This relationship between party identification and reports of excellent mental health persists even within categories of income, age, gender, church attendance, and education.

The basic data — based on an aggregated sample of more than 4,000 interviews conducted since 2004 — are straightforward.

Further proof of this might be illustrated by the Clinton supporter that invaded her campaign’s satellite office in Rochester NH and held several volunteers hostage with highway flares strapped to his chest. Rumor has it that he was complaining about health care in the US specifically mental health care.

I think the margin of error might actually be less than ±2 Percentage Points.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D – San Francisco is angling for defeat in Iraq and the war on terrorism for her party’s own political benefit. Pelosi will push for a vote on the genocide resolution in an attempt to anger Turkey to suspend the use of their airspace to supply our troops in Iraq.

This type of scenerio will doom the Democrat Party in 2008. Just one more arrow in the heart of liberalism in the 21st century. If she keeps on insisting on this vote our military will suffer more fatalities in Iraq as a result of her ignorance and stupidity in foreign affairs.

No wonder the Democrat party controlled congress has such a low approval rating.

This further exposes the low wattage of the liberal mindset .

A full U.S. House vote on the genocide resolution is expected soon. Turkey, which acknowledges Armenians died in large numbers but denies genocide took place, has warned it might close its airspace to the U.S. military if the measure is approved.

The Turkish Parliament is set to vote as early as tomorrow to authorize a military incursion into Iraq.

The dispute is a source of concern within the Pentagon. The U.S. military brings enormous quantities of food, fuel, ammunition, spare parts and vehicles into Iraq every month through the Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkey. Officials said 70% of the air cargo going into Iraq passes through Turkey.

If the U.S. lost access to Turkish airspace, it likely would try to bring supplies in from Jordan or Kuwait. But neither country could step in as a viable replacement. The U.S. has no major bases in Jordan, and the highways linking Jordan and Iraq pass through several restive Sunni-dominated parts of Iraq. The U.S. ports and bases in Kuwait, meanwhile, are already stretched by supplies en route to Iraq.

Chris Matthews appeared on the Daily Show expecting praise for his new book “Life’s a Campaign .” Instead Matthews was lambasted with criticism. Stewart roasted Matthews unmercifully. It’s so much fun watching ultra liberals tearing each other apart .

Stewart: “Rather than a self-help book it is really a “self-hurt book, if you will,” he added. “Aren’t campaigns fundamentally contrivances?”

Matthews agreed, but said you could still learn from successful politicians – like them, you sometimes have to “sell yourself” to get a job or manipulate people to get ahead.

“But there has to be some core of soul in there,” Stewart replied. “There’s nothing in this book about, ‘Be good, be competent.’”

Matthews said THAT book had been written before – and it was the Bible. But Stewart, when he is on his game, can be quick and erudite, and now he pointed out that Matthews’ new book had also been written before – and it was Machiavelli’s “The Prince.” Matthews claimed his book was better than “The Prince.”

Stewart then twice called Matthews’ book “a recipe for sadness. … If you live this book, your life will be strategy, and … you’ll be unhappy.”

Moonbat stupidity …

A bench warrant was issued Thursday for antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan, who did not appear for arraignment Thursday in a Washington, D.C., courtroom to face charges related to her Sept. 10 disorderly conduct arrest at the Capitol.

District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Michael McCarthy issued the order to Sheehan around noon, a court spokeswoman said. The warrant means she is to be taken into custody and brought before the court. She also faces one count of unlawful assembly.

The Democrat Party controlled Congress has reached it’s lowest approval ratings matching the lowest ever recorded by the Gallup poll. The Pelosi-Reid regime has been proven a disaster for the Democrats.

From Gallup:

A new Gallup Poll finds Congress’ approval rating the lowest it has been since Gallup first tracked public opinion of Congress with this measure in 1974. Just 18% of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing, while 76% disapprove, according to the August 13-16, 2007, Gallup Poll.

That 18% job approval rating matches the low recorded in March 1992, when a check-bouncing scandal was one of several scandals besetting Congress, leading many states to pass term limits measures for U.S. representatives (which the Supreme Court later declared unconstitutional). Congress had a similarly low 19% approval rating during the energy crisis in the summer of 1979.

Americans’ evaluations of the job Congress is doing are usually not that positive — the vast majority of historical approval ratings have been below 50%. The high point was 84% approval one month after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, when Americans rallied behind the federal government. Since then, Congress’ approval ratings have generally exhibited the same downward trajectory seen in those for President George W. Bush. Currently, 32% of Americans approve of the job Bush is doing as president, a far cry from the record-high 90% he received in September 2001. Bush’s current job approval rating is just three percentage points above his lowest.
