Streisand to Sing for Obama
Barbra Streisand will perform for Barack Obama on Sept. 16 in Hollywood for the Obamessiah.
Barbra Streisand will be among the headliners at a fund-raiser for Barack Obama on Sept. 16, where she will perform for the presidential candidate at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
The plans for the event were outlined this morning and Streisand confirmed that she would take the stage. The hotel ballroom holds an estimated 700 people.
Obama’s fund-raiser is expected to be his final visit to raise money here before the general election.
Obama will start the evening with a 5 p.m. dinner event for about 250 people at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, the historic estate once owned by the legendary Doheny family. Tickets for the event are $28,500.
Later, he will attend a reception at the Beverly Wilshire, followed by Streisand’s special performance. Tickets for the event are $2,500 per person.
Co-hosts for event include the DreamWorks team of Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, as well as political consultant Andy Spahn. It’s also being organized with Obama’s Southern California finance team.

That pic reminded me of the scene in Men in Black where thefarm lady told Edgar his skin was all loose and falling off. 10 to 1 she’ll get it all pulled back in place for the devotions with Barry.
Let me see if I understand this; this weekend Obam attended a private fundraiser at Bon-Jovi’s private estate and in just over a week he will attend another intimate almost 30,000 dollar fundraiser at another private estate before appearing at the ballroom with 700 people who have nothing better to spend 2,500 to see him and hear Streisand sing. I am certain that I could do an intimate dinner of lobster for 5 here at home and turn on the cd player for less than 100.00. I suspect it would be more intimate as well. Just what part of the social fundraising he is doing now relates to the lives of the very people he professes to understand and represent? Perhaps it is just me, but his life is way out of touch with the life of the average american.
I donn’t know that I would ever want to be “intamate” with Babs. I condsier being in the same state bad enough cookie. Maybe would could get have a Rawhide Marathon for the Maverick and Palin. Guns and Cowboys Perfect reason to donate.
Streisand singing for Obama? She sang for the George McGovern campaign and we all know what happened with that one.
By the way, does Obama even know who Streisand is? I doubt it.
Looks like the bloom if off the rose. But we’re all getting older.

Obama keeps crying about how bad the economy is, but if Americans are hurting so bad, how come they were able to send Obama a record breaking 66 million dollars last month? … And, tonight Obama is asking Americans to give him $28,500.00 each for the Obama/Streisand fund raiser dinner. Two faced Obama has no credibility. No Wright, no Farrakhan, no Pfleger, no Rezko, no Ayers, no mean Michelle, and, NOBAMA !!!

In the day and age when people can CROP just about anything onto another thing, are you people REALLY that STUPID to think that’s Barbra?
I saw her in concert, CLOSE UP last year when this “supposed pic” of her first popped up…and, let me tell you, she looked FABULOUS.
