The Obama Energy Plan: Inflate Your Tires?

More from the Obama-rama, silliness persists…

And this man is a serious candidate?

Yeah, serious enough to win. Big.

You obviously edited out whatever Obama said before this snippet.

And what’s McCain’s energy plan? Give us a federal gas tax holiday for a couple of months? That’ll save us 18 cents a gallon IF the oil companies just don’t raise their prices to glom onto that tax break themselves. Isn’t that what the big complaint was about Obama’s oil profiteering tax? That oil companies would just pass the cost on to consumers? Remember, even though Exxon Mobil just posted the largest corporate profit EVER, $11.7 billion, it was less than Wall Street had projected. Oh yeah, offshore drilling. That’ll help long after McCain is dead and gone.

Obama is a left wing liberal who lacks the common sense to just drill for more oil. Sure, we should also get serious about wind power, solar power and other alternative energy. But absolutely need to drill for more oil to send a signal to the speculators that their time is coming to an end. Drilling for oil will tell the world the America is serious about energy independence.

Horse hockey! Speculators aren’t worried about what may or may not happen 10 years down the road. 10 months? Maybe. Not 10 years.

And gee, golly gosh, how about this tidbit from the world of Big Oil:

“Campaign contributions from oil industry executives to Sen. John McCain rose dramatically in the last half of June, after the senator from Arizona made a high-profile split with environmentalists and reversed his opposition to the federal ban on offshore drilling. Oil and gas industry executives and employees donated $1.1 million to McCain last month — three-quarters of which came after his June 16 speech calling for an end to the ban — compared with $116,000 in March, $283,000 in April and $208,000 in May.”

Way to go, John!! Good to see you on the Bush Big Oil Team!!

Screw substance. Obamba looks good in swim trunks. And I’m not sure what Chris Matthews is saying, but, well, he makes me moist and tingling . . . all over.

Latest chapter in “Why John McCain Is Clueless”: Paul Krugman comments on the prospect of offshore drilling:

“A McCain campaign ad says that gas prices are high right now because “some in Washington are still saying no to drilling in America.” That’s just plain dishonest: the U.S. government’s own Energy Information Administration says that removing restrictions on offshore drilling wouldn’t lead to any additional domestic oil production until 2017, and that even at its peak the extra production would have an “insignificant” impact on oil prices.

What’s even more important than Mr. McCain’s bad economics, however, is what his reversal on this issue — he was against offshore drilling before he was for it — says about his priorities.”

DISHONEST JOHN… kinda sums it all up.

    You’re kidding Paul Krugman.. ROFL

Obama is clueless about such a serious issue. This guy is another Jimmy Carter. Throw in the race card and Obama is looking at a really bad week! I need to go inflate my tires. I hope that doesn’t make me racist.
