September 6, 2004 when 52% thought the U.S. and its allies were winning then......... Nearly half of Americans (48%) now believe the United States and its allies are winning the War on Terror it sounds like the opposite my friend....surely the number of people who thought the terrorists would win has gone down 6% since 2004 but the number of people who think we are winning has gone down too! But if you were trying to make your point from july07 then yes, it has improved in one year....but as a whole its still gone down......
