The Obama campaign is covering and refusing to produce an actual birth certificate proving Barack’s United States citizenship. The more the campaign backpedals on disclosure the more suspicious many become. The question is does Barack Obama have something to hide?

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fake Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same Daily Kos blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider’s revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the diligent detective work of independent investigative journalists (led by JimJ and Texas Darling) and imaging professionals such as Polarik in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate The Daily Kos, a “progressive” blog site, and the Obama campaign’s “Fight the Smears” website, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance. Moreover, the blog and the campaign have been negligent in allowing the promotion of obviously forged and fake official documents together with the purported image of Obama’s birth certificate.
The Kossacks are implicated in this and presented phony Hawaiian birth certificate for Obama.
The blog entry, posted by the site founder Kos (Markos Moulitsas), is presented as a response to a request by Jim Geraghty of the National Review Online, who had, three days before, called for the Obama campaign to release the candidate’s birth certificate:
Having done some Obama-rumor debunking that got praise from Daily Kos (a sign of the apocalypse, no doubt), perhaps the Obama campaign could return the favor and help debunk a bunch of others with a simple step: Could they release a copy of his birth certificate?
Reporters have asked for it and been denied, and the state of Hawaii does not make such records public [...]
So Kos aka Moulitsas goes out and gets one. One impressed commenter on the site asks Kos where he got it. He answers:
“I asked the campaign. This ‘journamalism [sic] thing actually works sometimes.”
But why would a presidential campaign that has its own “Fight the Smears” website rely on a radical left-wing blog like Daily Kos to post its official documents, especially one as sensitive and controversial as a birth certificate? A few days later the Obama site would post a very low resolution, barely legible image — it still is there on the site, with no reference to the one first posted at the Daily Kos.
Yet the service of Daily Kos to the Obama campaign raises some questions: Who in the campaign would be authorized to release a personal document of Barack Obama’s birth certificate? Was it a paper document that they sent to Kos to scan, or did the Obama campaign scan the original and send it to Kos? If so, why not just post it on the Fight the Smears site? Or is there another possible source for the document? There is no documentation of the provenance of this image, from whom and why it was transmitted to Daily Kos, and in which format. None, that is, except for the say-so of Markos Moulitsas, who said he simply asked the Obama campaign for it.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the “birth certificate” he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama “Fight the Smears” website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, the primary record of US birth, Obama cannot prove that he fulfills the “natural born citizen” requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President and throwing the race into turmoil. His presumed Kenyan-born father was foreign-born, and his mother was too young at the time of birth to confer natural born status by virtue of her American citizenship. Thus his citizenship comes down to proving he was born in the USA, and his campaign has staked its credibility on the authenticity of the Daily Kos-derived birth certificate image. …the Obama campaign, three weeks later, continues to run a derivative of the Daily Kos posts, and insists on its authenticity while refusing to submit any paper proof of birth for official or independent inspection, as if proof of Constitutional fitness to serve is of no consequence.

McCain has the problem. He is not American. He was born in Panama while Obama was born in Hawaii.
McCain WAS born in the Panama Canal Zone. More correctly stated, that was a TERRITORY of the United States. Even MORE important is the fact that he was born to military parents who were serving the United States at the time of his birth.
United States law states undeniably that any child born to a military parent is a natural born citizen of this nation, no matter the country in which the are born.
Obama has issues here. Undeniable issues that perhaps are going to influence his candidacy. Produce the REAL document or leave.
If there were any real doubt that Senator Obama was a natural born U.S. citizen it would have been vetted long before now. The fact that insincere and self delusional extremists are wasting such large amounts of time and effort trying to generate fake scandals shows that they are still running this election out of Karl Rove’s dog-eared and now thoroughly ineffective playbook. Posting the Senator’s birth certificate only lends credibility to these preposterous and hysterically funny accusations, and so it should be taken down. I’m looking forward to the looming election landslide not only at the national level, but also at the local level. Maybe it’s time for these jokers to leave the political arena before they turn themselves into a national laughing stock.
If he has a birth certificate, why doesn’t he put all the questions to rest and produce it? Why would anyone fake a birth certificate if the real one was handy?

Why doesn’t he just release his birth certificate to an established U.S. news organization ? What does he have to hide ?
He wasn’t born in Hawaii: he was born in Kenya.
This will come out when and only when some important member of the MSM asks him about it. I’m not holding my breath. As long as it’s confined to blogs, the vast majority of Americans will never know about it. He’s gonna get away w/ it. We will elect a Kenyan.
I have to wonder why BO will NOT produce such a simple document; it is not that difficult. And why only a one page letter certifying his health? His reluctance to produce documentation begs the question of what are he and the DNC hiding?
McCain has satisfied the requirements. Why won’t Obama do the same?

While an US citizen, either Obama was born elsewhere or his mother was too young ant his birth and so his running for the US presidency is illegal.
The Daily Kos picture is a fraud, and the oblique answers privided by his campaign to this question are very suspicious, and Obama’s mention of the certificate in his memoir is bizzare – he mentioned it there exactly to deflect possible questions.
The whole thing started probably as a residency matter, his family covering for it for his sake – then his ascension followed and his citizenship status became a critical matter.
In case this is proven true, he (his wife, associates, as well) is exposed not only to disgrace, but to a lot of legal charges – from gosh! not being qualified to take student loans, to fraud, forgery, lying under oath, etc, etc. Wow! Wow – oh, man!
Very interesting, and the matter should be pursued by all means. And now a shy thought – are New York Times or MSNBC also pursuing it?
The only people asking to see his birth certificate are you wack jobs. No sane people are questioning his citizenship.
Ask the FBI to check it out, simple! To be POTUS, he must undergo a complete background security check just like any other citizen who will be privy to top secret information. If it’s been done, then all Obama has to do is get director of the FBI to give him the thumbs up.

0bama is not an illegal alien because his mother was a citizen. However, he continues to hide his real birth certificate which would prove whether he meets the additional condition of being born on American soil. He lies and hides information which he should be triumphantly waving at his detractors. That cannot sound good even to the most devoted 0bamabots.
When McCain’s citizenship came up, it was reviewed by a legal panel and declared good. The same scrutiny should have been applied to 0bama, but it wasn’t. We don’t know if he’s hiding illegitimacy, adoption by a muslim and Indonesian citizenship, his claims for single mother victim status even though he had a rich stepfather most of his childhood, or what. A copy of his Barry Soetoro school record is on the web with information.

the fact fact that a laser printed recreation of a birth certifercate from ’61 supplied should raise some eyebrows. i’m sure a government official of any kind could obtain a blank copy and print whatever thay wanted on it. not to mention the fact that the copy released to the press has the serial number blacked out on it.
