Another alleged Democrat Party felon is trying to hold on to any power he has left in Washington, Dollar Bill Jefferson of the cold hard cash in the freezer fame.
New Orleans congressman William Jefferson(D-New Orleans) who is facing trial on federal corruption charges will seek re-election to a 10th term.
In a news release on Tuesday, Democrat William Jefferson touted his experience and portrayed himself as a person who still has power in Congress despite his indictment in the corruption case.
His 2006 election was a landslide, despite allegations of corruption prior his indictment last year.
several of Jefferson’s family members were indicted two weeks ago on fraud charges.
Mr. Jefferson has pleaded not guilty to allegations of soliciting more than half million dollars in bribes while using his office to conduct business deals in Africa.
Why isn’t the Congressional Black Caucus trying to rid itself of this moron?
The Democrat Party’s culture of corruption marches on.

His supporters will reelect him because they look at him as hero for ‘sticking it to the man’. Not smart enough to know that every dollar he steals comes from them as well as us. There isn’t a ‘the man’ in governement, only taxpayers getting fleeced by criminals like cold cash.
