Bill Clinton phoned in to a radio show in Pennsylvania claims that the Obama Campaign played the race card against him.
Then he denies that he said any such thing when reporters confront him with his own words.
Reporter: “Sir, what did you mean yesterday when you said that the Obama campaign was playing the race card on you?”
CLINTON: “When did I say that, and to whom did I say that?”
Reporter: “On WHYY radio yesterday”
CLINTON: “No, no, no. That’s not what I said. You always follow me around and play these little games, and I’m not going to play your games today. This is a day about election day. Go back and see what the question was, and what my answer was. You have mischaracterized it to get another cheap story to divert the American people from the real urgent issues before us, and I choose not to play your game today. Have a nice day.”
Reporter: “Respectfully sir, though, you did say …”
CLINTON: “Have a nice day.” [continues shaking hands with supporters]. I said what I said, you can go and look at the interview. And if you’ll be real honest, you’ll also report what the question was and what the answer was.”
Reporter: “They asked you if you regretted your comparing Jesse Jackson to Barack Obama on the day after the South Carolina primary.”
CLINTON: “And I pointed out that I did not do that, and that I complimented them both. And that Jesse Jackson took no offense. And I called him myself, I said, ‘Did you find that offensive?’ And he said no.
Bill speaks out of both sides of his mouth. The era of Youtube and the internet will continue to bite him in the ass.

We have had 8 years of Clition lying, this latest one should come as no surprise.
Not only did he lie about making the comments – he lied initially when speaking about the context of the comments in South Carolina. He said on WHYY that he was “sitting around drinking coffee discussing South Carolina political history” when the comments were made. Not true. Check google or youtube – he was asked outside at a political rally why Obama was doing such a good job in South Carolina even though he was being double teamed by the Clintons. He responded that Jesse Jackson had run a good campaign too in South Carolina. (Why didn’t he say Edwards, the more recent candidate running for President who had carried the state, but not won the nomination?)
He doesn’t think anyone will notice when he tries to gloss over the circumstances of his lies. We’re paying attention Mr. Clinton. We’re not the idiots you think we are. I will not vote for your wife or your child ever, EVER – in any election – again. And this from a New York yellow dog dem! Our party has got to do better. We will not be hoodwinked twice.
