As Hillary tap dances around her Bosnia ‘misquotes’ Slick is on the road perpetuating the Tuzla tale. He is truly a conservative bloggers dream. I beg the Hillary presidential campaign please continue to keep Bill in the limelight. This is precious.

Bubba isn’t so slick anymore the teflon coating is wearing off. Bill Clinton, after a short time off the campaign trail returned Thursday to fabricate a new tale relating to Hillary’s Most Excellent Bosnia Tour, Otherwise known as Snipergate.

“She took a terrible beating in the press for a few days,because she was exhausted at 11 o’clock at night and she started talking about Bosnia and she misstated the circumstances under which she landed in Bosnia.

“Did you all see all that? And oh, they acted like she was practically Mata Hari, like she was making up all this stuff”.

“And then the president of Bosnia said, ‘Well, it was quite dangerous when she came, there were snipers in the hills all around,’ And then Gen. Wes Clarke, who was there trying to make the peace among the Bosnians, said ‘Yeah, it was dangerous, let me remind you three of the Americans who were on my peace-keeping team were killed because they had to take a dangerous road ’cause they couldn’t go the regular way.’

“And she had to go up into the cockpit with our daughter, in a bullet-proof area, and all the other people had to sit on their bullet-proof flak jackets because it was dangerous. So she immediately said ‘OK, I misremembered that, they didn’t cancel the welcoming ceremony, but it was pretty dangerous.’ “

In Indiana, Bill told a different version,claiming his wife, “one time late at night when she was exhausted, she misstated and immediately apologized for it, what happened to her in Bosnia in 1995. Did y’all see all that? Oh, they blew it up. Let me just tell you.

“The president of Bosnia and Gen. Wesley Clark — who was there making peace where we’d lost three peacekeepers who had to ride on a dangerous mountain road because it was too dangerous to go the regular, safe way — both defended her because they pointed out that when her plane landed in Bosnia, she had to go up to the bulletproof part of the plane, in the front. Everybody else had to put their flak jackets underneath the seat they got shot at. And everywhere they went they were covered by Apache helicopters”.

“So they just abbreviated the arrival ceremony. Now I say that because what really has mattered is that even then she was interested in our troops. And I think she was the first First Lady since Eleanor Roosevelt to go into a combat zone. And you woulda thought, you know, that she’d robbed a bank the way they carried on about this.”

Bill is no friend of the facts:

Hillary’s most publicized telling of her fable was on March 17, 2008, in the morning.

She actually told the story several times over a couple of months and never at night.

Former acting Bosnian president Ejup Ganic said “we didn’t expect snipers,” though, “we still believed that some positions on the hills were occupied by radical Serbs, so I was worried about the overall safety.”

The pilot Colonel William “Goose” Changose, now retired said, “nobody under my watch has ever directed anyone to sit on their flak jackets. … We do not direct people to sit on their flak jackets.”

Hillary never apologized.

The Snipergate incident didn’t happen in 1995 it was 1996

The first first lady to enter a combat zone was Pat Nixon who visited Saigon during the Vietnam war, not Hillary.

Why in the world would Bill Clinton resurrect this story?

Here is the video of the Boy President resurrecting Hillary’s lies about her Bosnian trip and Bill further embellishing with his blatant lies. As I mentioned before Bill is a political blogger’s dream…

Either he is suffering some mental disability or he doesn’t want Hillary to win the Democrat Party nomination.

That’s fine with me. We don’t need another Soap Opera Presidency like the first Clinton abomination in the 1990′s.

… uh, nope. Got that wrong. She told the story multiple times, in multiple locations. And she did not immediately apologize for it. First, she tried to dispute what Sinbad said by giving her “now that’s what happened” speech where she re-repeated the story. Then, she said she misspoke once because she was sleep-deprived. Then, she told a lame joke about it on Leno. At no time has she ever apologized for it. Ever.

… uh, nope. Looked like a pretty leisurely stroll in ALL the clips that EVERYone has been showing.

3) “I think she was the first first lady since Eleanor Roosevelt to go into a combat zone.”
…uh, nope. Guess Bill doesn’t Digg, Google, or even read. The Clinton White House spun that story when Hillary went, and the press bought it back then. Since that time, turns out that Pat Nixon went before Hillary.

4) “And some of them when they’re 60 they’ll forget something when they’re tired at 11:00 at night, too.”
…uh, really? Is he really implying that Hillary had a ‘senior moment’? When I’m 60, I hope I don’t mistake a little girl’s poem reading with dashing from sniper fire with my only child. If I do lose it that badly, PLEASE make sure that I am NOT allowed to be the President of the United States.
