An alleged sexual pervert was discovered in Senator Maria Cantwell’s staff. The staff member had previously worked for Dick Gephardt.
He is accused of soliciting sex from a 13 year old boy.
A member of U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell’s staff has been charged in federal court after a sting operation in which he allegedly solicited sex from what he thought was a 13-year-old boy.
James Michael McHaney, 28, was charged Saturday in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., with using a computer to arrange a sexual encounter with an informant posing as a boy, according to court records.
McHaney was arrested Friday afternoon by the FBI after he allegedly told an FBI witness he was ready to meet. He later asked for the boy’s photo.

McHaney were conversing online Friday afternoon when the CW asked whether McHaney was interested in engaging in anal sex with a 13-year-old boy. “I’ll be there,” McHaney allegedly replied. He later asked for a photo of the child with whom he and the CW would have sex and whether the boy had “any pubes.” When told no, McHaney allegedly replied, “That’s hot.” McHaney was nabbed in the lobby of an unnamed “predetermined location,” where he had arranged to meet CW. Until his arrest Friday, McHaney had worked as the D.C. scheduler for Democratic Senator Maria Cantwell. A caller to Cantwell’s office was told late today that, as of last Friday, McHaney no longer worked for the Washington state politician.

Its Cantwell’s staffer, not Cantwell. There are sexual perverts on both sides of the aisle…probably no more than in society at large. Can’t control staffers…can’t really scan/vet most of these people.
